  - Derivation can be searched for, build task less so
  - Derivations are specific to Nix
  - Build task could be used in an explanation of derivations instead
  - PR sounds good.

  - @infinisil: Why was X11 added in the first place? Let’s ping the relevant people to find out

- Hacking!
  - Users are still [regularly thrown off by `nix-env`](https://discourse.nixos.org/t/how-to-upgrade-packages/6151/16), and we’re only seeing the tip of the iceberg of problems they run into.
  - Remove all inappropriate mentions of `nix-env` from the Nixpkgs and NixOS manuals
  - Open issues where the answer is not immediately clear
