Hey everyone! Time is flying and we’re warmly inviting you the next hackathon and developer workshop in Zürich. This time around we will focus more on the hacking, but also plan to pick up on the recent discussions around community governance and project direction.

We invited leading contributors from the Nix ecosystem, to better learn to know each other, and work on hard problems together. Once again we also invited Elton Vecchietti from [Modus Create](https://moduscreate.com/) to continue his invaluable UX workshop series. We expect to meet many participants again, to share and evaluate results from the activities planned in [the last event in May 2023](https://discourse.nixos.org/t/zurich-23-05-zhf-hackathon-and-workshop-report/29093).
Expect hacking, knowledge sharing, discussions, and one or another strategic decision! Subscribe to [`nix-community/developer-workshop`](https://github.com/nix-community/developer-workshop) to participate in and stay up to date with planning and preparations.

Great news, Elton just confirmed his attendance, so we can count on another great UX workshop for the Nix community sponsored by [Tweag](https://www.tweag.io/)!

Happy to announce that @mat will attend, and be available to talk about and work with anyone interested on funding strategies for open source projects. @mat is very well-connected in the industry, academia, and public administration, and among an unfathomable number of other things, invented and organised Summer of Nix [2021](https://discourse.nixos.org/t/the-summer-of-nix-2021-report-is-out/17861) and [2022](https://discourse.nixos.org/t/summer-of-nix-2022-report/27066).

@fricklerhandwerk, is there any chance/interest to squeeze 5mins lightning talk about Nix Geospatial Team which I am trying to get up and running?
