- see tesh for alternative, which takes the problem from the other direction

@infinisil: since the thing already works but the syntax is unusual, should probaby just pick a fairly standard syntax

@infinisil: The self.eval step can be done as a preprocessing step that generates a file that can be included with a plugin like above

@fricklerhandwerk: this is still a bit brittle, and we may as well go the whole hog and write Nix expressions and interpolate in file contents produced from derivations
- Idea: Implement something like literalinclude’s
pyobject for Nix.
- can use the
lines attribute to cut parts of files to focus readers
- ideally we’d have something like
pyobject but for Nix, rnix could in principle support that

@alejandrosame: currently working injection of facts from the code into the Nixpkgs manual (e.g: autogeneration of Python interpreter table)
- did not spend much time yet, will open a draft PR once there’s something to show for
- (discussed the trade-off between hacky solutions that work now vs. ripping everything open)
