## Contributor onboarding

- @imincik is heavily onboarding new users, not yet contributors
  - @Ericson2314 is still doing GSoC

- @fricklerhandwerk is in touch with multiple people interested in contributing, pointing them to small tasks to start out with
- @fricklerhandwerk: while onboarding contributors is always an issue, that will always happen regardless. right now we have to address the project leadership and governance situation
  - (brief discussion of options to propose to the assembly in that regard)

- @imincik just came back from a geospatial software conference
  - got many questions about Nix
  - a lot of interest in the concepts, and quite some demand for what Nix delivers
  - opened a PR to list the team on [nixos.org](http://nixos.org)
