Dialo is using Nix and NixOS throught the stack - our hosts run NixOS, dev envs are based on Nix, OCI images are built with nix2container, and even all of our k8s manifests are generated from nix using nixidy (which reference image names + shas directly).
And all of this creates a perfect stack for clankers. They’re getting incredibly good when paired with the right feedback mechanisms, and we need someone to build them.
Some examples of what we wanna build:
-
Sandboxed, production-like environments for human-in-the-loop development with excellent feedback mechanisms (think isolated Claude Code in a cloud VM for every task with an easy way to ssh into it and a great UI to supervise)
-
Development environments with self-verifying feedback loops for whatever can be automatically checked - implementing RFCs, papers, well-known protocols, or resource optimizations.
The goal is to be among the fastest moving companies and figure out the right way to achieve human-computer symbiosis given the indisputable revolution we are going through.
The job is remote for the right candidate (contract with a fixed scope) or a full time position in Warsaw (preferred, we do offer a relocation package).
Apply by emailing jobs@dialo.ai. Please describe the most challenging project you’ve built and, if possible, include a link to your GitHub or an attached CV.
