Half of the time, when I boot it gets stuck on this screen, but if I turn it off and on again it goes into SDDM and works fine. I only have this issue on my “gaming” host in my config. My best guess is it has to do with mounting the external hard drives.
Could you share the contents of journalctl --boot -1 once you reboot into a working system after one of these failures?

Looks like it’s bugging out thinking the display was disconnected?
