Ckb-next : daemon is not running

I installed ckb-next, but it complains:

The ckb-next daemon is not running. This program will not work without it!
Start it once with:
sudo systemctl start ckb-next-daemon

, but it doesn’t seem that this is declared or am I reading it wrong?

I’m able to start it manually, though, but I wonder if this has been declared elsewhere?

Just installing things with environment.systemPackages does no setup. It basically just puts them in PATH. If there are nixos options for your piece of software, you’re usually better off using them.
