Hey Nix-ers!
I recently deployed a Nostr relay (Haven) and a Matrix stack on my home server. The Wiki was somewhat helpful, but it’s definitely lacking in detail and pretty incomplete. If I wanted to improve it, what’s the process I should follow?
Should I write a post on my blog and let someone pull from there, is there someone I should contact to get direct write access, or something else?
Anyone can create an account and edit our wiki on NixOS Wiki - Official NixOS Wiki.
Yeah, the whole point of a wiki is that anybody can edit it. Though, if you are trying to solicit advice or feedback, you’re welcome to ask here first.
To be honest, I’ve also been wondering about editing the NixOS Wiki. There is a manual of style (Manual of Style - Official NixOS Wiki) but it is a bit terse and the rules-of-thumb are a bit generic. It would be nice to have a proper guide with examples of do’s and dont’s.
I’ve just made my first page, hoping someone could review it 
finding just the markup info was not immediate but the process is anyway smooth.
Wrong wiki, our wiki is at wiki.nixos.org.
It also doesn’t need to be that wordy, as the main focus is the NixOS config, not introducing the program.
