# Debugging nix build from flake \[solved\]

I haven’t tried it myself, but have you tried the` --debugger` flag?

If that doesn’t work, perhaps some of the recommendations in [Debug a failed derivation with `breakpointHook` and `cntr`](https://discourse.nixos.org/t/debug-a-failed-derivation-with-breakpointhook-and-cntr/8669) will.
