Factorio taking over all of my CPU with newer NixOS version

I’m not sure if I should report this to the game’s forum itself or in here but since this is caused by a newer NixOS version I should at least report it here (?)

At NixOS version 25.11.20250525.62b852f Factorio runs fine (Which was my previous NixOS generation).
I just upgraded a few days ago to 25.11.20250607.3e3afe5 which had made Factorio run at 12 FPS and made every core in my CPU at 80%. This happening even at the menu on the same version.

Any ideas?

Sounds like software rendering? Perhaps your graphics driver is set up wrong, did you reboot after updating?

I did reboot after the update. I tried out other games and they seem to work fine.

I have confirmed that the game haven’t been using the GPU. The game logs the detected GPU in my previous generations where the latest doesn’t.

I am using nixos-hardware maybe the problem came from there?
