This issue is to collect information about the maturity of our desktops. We w…ant to provide an easy install of desktops for users with a graphical installer (https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/161788). It uses X11 except GNOME. The provided desktops should be **ready for daily use** and **stable**. I'm asking the **maintainers**, but feedback from **users** of these desktops are also apprectiated! Just rate the desktops with :+1: or :-1: on the comment. For more detailed feedback, write a comment.

Is Pantheon usable on NixOS? I know it’s not on non-NixOS.

Is Pantheon usable on NixOS?

It is usable for me, please open new issues at NixOS/nixpkgs and ping the Pantheon team if you encounter any problems.

I know it’s not on non-NixOS.

Sorry I cannot really provide support for this use case (if you mean a fully working desktop, and not some specific apps)
