i’ve been using nixos with firefox, tending to search mynixos.com as my overarching search function when looking for functionality in nixos.
firefox allows adding sites as a ‘search engine’ to facilitate searching them, for which it seems to use extensions.
as such, i have made a firefox extension to make it easier to search mynixos.com, forking the existing firefox-nixpkgs-extension.
disclaimer: if there are non-commercial overarching searches i’d be open to switching to those.
Huh, wonder when they removed the option of adding search engine strings that would extend %s and such.

You still can. Right-click on the url bar when you are on the website.
