hi guys why does my firefox look different in i3 and dwm what does it depend on and what determines it how to make firefox in dwm look the same as in i3 
Looks like it could be client side vs server side decorations. In the second case, Firefox believes the window manager is making a bar with the window title and buttons above it, so it doesn’t draw make the control buttons in its own bar (it would look weird with duplicate buttons).
This Reddit post seems to indicate that those buttons don’t work in stock dwm if Firefox did show them.
There’s probably a dwm patch to make-everything-work in this case.
