I want to use fractional scaling for gnome3 on my NVidia graphics card.
Here is what I already know:
- It is possible. In ubuntu 19.04 you can use fractional scaling on a nvidia card by default. I tested it myself and it works.
- Fractional Scaling is supported since gnome3.32 (source: GNOME 3.32 Lands Long-Awaited Fractional Scaling Support - Phoronix)
- I need to activate NVidia kernel mode setting (source: https://www.reddit.com/r/gnome/comments/99fhde/status_of_fractional_scaling_in_330/e4z01tm/)
- I already did that using this nix configuration:
hardware.nvidia.modesetting.enable = true;

- I have to activate EGLStreams in gnome somehow (I don’t know how this works)
Does anyone have experience with wayland/nvidia/gnome on nixos? How can I achive fractional scaling?
