"gs" process running in the background, 12% CPU usage, not possible to stop

I have a “gs” (ghostscript?) process running in the background without pause. I am not able to kill it, it always comes back.

  • Plasma 6, baloo disabled (thought it might scan PDFs with postscript?)
  • qbittorrent running, downloading many PDF files
  • SANE enabled via option, but no scanner connected or process running
  • CUPS disabled via option
  • no PDF open in any program

I have no idea what this is, what may cause this.

ps aux shows this

so this might be caused by many PDF files I download over bittorrent, and write?
