Help creating a package/missing package

Hello Nix Community,

The link below points to a cli tool for the Zapier platform to make workflow automations.

I would like to have this cli tool part of a flake.nix at work, but there is no underlying package for it.

Is it possible to create a nix package for it? If yes, what is the documentation for creating it?

Also, it seems that some popular JavaScript packages are not in nixpkgs, like angular as well? Is there a reason for this?

You should start with the Nixpkgs manual’s JavaScript section. There might be other helpful information in the wiki.

Angular is available as nodePackages."@angular/cli":

> nix shell nixpkgs#nodePackages.@angular/cli --command ng --version
