I cannot see that darling-dmg (alone) nor dmg2img can help with that task?
This software seems to be windows and mac only.
They do not provide a linux version.
You might have some luck using wine or proton and the windows version, but as it seems to be some kind of glorified driver with UI, I doubt it’ll be possible.
