Tried that (PRs ready for review _ - #3111 by gm6k), but this also doesn’t seem effective. The change request hasn’t been removed, there is just more confusion (the PR now contains at least three competing opinions on how a source code patch is supposed to be integrated), and it even attracted off-topic comments. It really doesn’t seem transparent at all what remaining changes (if any) would be needed for the PR to be considered mergeable.
