Is it possible to make Chrome trust a CA set with security.pki.certificates?

I set a root certificate with security.pki.certificates and it’s being trusted by curl on the command line but not by Chrome. Am I missing something?

It looks like Google Chrome is using NSS instead of the OpenSSL CA store that is being used by NixOS.
