Is that possible to use different dpi on each monitor?

My laptop use HiDPI screen so I have to set a larger dpi to get a fine display, but it’s too large on an external monitor, Is that possible to use different dpi on each monitor?

Maybe you can define different DPI per monitor in the monitorSection NixOS Search

Or maybe using xrandr?

Then you could use something like autorandr to automatically switch.

Thanks @asymmetric and @periklis, I now considered to use the xrandr, manually tweak the dpi before opening the application I wish to put on another monitor. A little mess but it works.
