# KDE Dolphin "recent locations" are totally random

Every time I click on Recent Locations in dolphin, the content is completely random. It often does not contain directories that I have recently visited, but it is always filled with directories marked yesterday or today that I certainly did not visit yesterday or today. On the other hand, the history displayed through the application launcher (Meta key → places → history) does seem accurate, and Recent Files in dolphin are correct. Any ideas what is causing this? - Thanks

I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure this is a KDE thing. I have also had many little annoying bugs like this with dolphin such as displaying an incorrect amount of files contained on a folder until you enter it and come back again.
Maybe you could try looking in [KDE Discuss](https://discuss.kde.org/).

I’m sure you’re right: it’s a KDE thing. Just thought I’d ask here, in case others had found a solution.
