Login with password manager broken

Discourse fails to recognize the password that my password manager (Pwdhash) enters and tells me that I should enter a password instead of accepting the password that’s in the field.

always Reproducible.
Steps:

  1. Click on “Sign in”
  2. enter username
  3. use Password Manager to enter password
  4. Click on “Log In”
  5. Get message “Please enter your email or username, and password.”
