Hello all! Recently switched to NixOS on my Surface Pro 4 and every time my device switches to sleep mode, I cannot get it to reconnect to my WiFi access point afterward. NMTUI still sees my WiFi interface but any attempt at reconnecting fails. Turning off Wifi from the Gnome Interface removes the WiFi interface entirely.
What I have tried already:
- disabled NetworkManager wifi powersave option (did not do anything)
- added the module from the nixos-hardware repo (introduced its own slew of problem so I did not have the opportunity to see if it fixed anything and I rolled back to a previous generation)
- tried to hot remove and reload the drivers mwifiex_pcie and mwifie (failed and introduced further issues that prevented a proper reboot and forced me to long press the shutdown button instead)
I hope that other people that ever had those problems have a solution because I am all out of idea right now.
