Network error when trying to search for NixOS packages on search.nixos.org
Hello! I hope this is the right place to ask for help about this. When I try to search for packages on search.nixos.org, the searching process continues for about a minute or so, before giving up and giving the error shown on the screenshot:
This happens on my freshly installed NixOS 25.05 (nothing configured), as well as my Windows 11 machine. These are 2 different physical machines.
I can confirm that my connection to the internet is working normally as expected when using other services, although I’m no network expert so I won’t rule out that there might be something wrong. Although I cannot think of anything I have configured that could be messing with this. However I asked around in the unofficial Discord earlier, and no one else seems to be experiencing this.
I am not using any weird or unusual router/firewall settings (as far as I’m aware, nothing outside of default settings is configured). I am not using a proxy, VPN, adblocker or any similar software, and yes I have tried restarting my machine and the router.
I have also included a screenshot of an error I’m getting in the console view from the f12 screen on MS Edge, appearing at the same time as the “Network Error!”:

I couldn’t find any f12 screen errors in Firefox on NixOS, but I am much less familiar with navigating that on Firefox.
A workaround I found was to use mobile hotspot from my phone, but I would not consider this a complete solution at all.
If anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or how to proceed, please let me know!
