As part of the [Nix@NGI packaging effort](https://nixos.org/community/teams/ngi), funded by NLnet under the NGI0 Review grant, we added **[QLever](https://github.com/ad-freiburg/qlever)**: a graph database that implements the RDF and SPARQL standards.

As such, we’ve packaged [`qlever`](https://github.com/ad-freiburg/qlever) and [`qlever-control`](https://github.com/qlever-dev/qlever-control) in Nixpkgs.
The first contains the necessary tools to index datasets & start a server and the second provides a helpful wrapper that controls various aspects of QLever.

Furthermore, we packaged [`qlever-ui`](https://github.com/qlever-dev/qlever-ui) in our [NGI forge](https://discourse.nixos.org/t/nix-ngi-ngi-forge-0-1-released/77213), which provides an easy-to-use web interface for the server.

### Try it out

Visit the [application page](https://ngi-nix.github.io/forge/app/qlever-app), launch the QLever UI in a container or NixOS VM:

```auto
nix run github:ngi-nix/forge/3e2c94a5#qlever-app.vm
```

and follow the usage instructions.
