Thanks for mentioning those, I found out that there were still left overs from nvidia proprietary drivers and the previous kernel I had installed (6.9.2) plus it’s modules. Weird how the gc hasn’t cleared these up, even after deleting every past generation. I just resized my partitions and now root has 149GB all for itself (booted another drive from another system I had around, and did it from there). Going to rebuild/update the system now and see how it goes. I also took the time to reorganize my configuration.nix and clean it up, removing stuff like nerdfonts like @waffle8946 suggested. Thank you guys so much for helping me out, learned quite a bit during this!
