after closing my laptop and opening it a day later, when I opened it, I saw it completing a shutdown. I am unsure whether this was hibernation or poweroff.
Now I am not able to power it on. It goes straight from the BIOS vendor logo to a black screen or the logo stays on.
I have systemd-boot and no NixOS boot options, such as a fallback kernel or previous generations show up. How can I make them show?
Otherwise, what is the procedure if I were to boot into a NixOS live CD?
After nixos-install from the live CD, I was able to fix my system, but only after reverting my configuration to before I updated from broadcom-sta-6.30.223.271-57-6.12.48 to broadcom-sta-6.30.223.271-57-6.12.55.
And this update happened because of the wl kernel module and the fact that the Kernel updated.
Has anyone else had this experience?
The curious thing that still remains is that I wasn’t even shown the boot options, so the issue happens before the kernel is loaded at all.
