I’m saying that it’s probably not leading to a meaningful increase in build speeds. Whether you’re using it for anything depends on what you’re grabbing from NUR.
You can add the cache globally, but I don’t think random NUR repos are uploaded to the community cache anyway. If they are, well, this is even less secure than the AUR, and we’ve seen where that leads.
Ah yes i see your point. I think at the moment i’m not using any packages from NUR anymore, and if i did it’s probably smaller programs, but i may as well remove the cache and see how it goes.
Especially if you’re using flakes, you can just use the upstream flake directly.
