No space left on /boot

It doesn’t need to get built, as its already in the store.

Though it wouldn’t needed anyway, as the activation doesn’t magically swap out the activev kernel.

It reuses the kernel of the currently running system generation and tries to apply as much as possible of the rest of the generation on top of the things it can not change.

FWIW, there seems to be a configurationLimit option for other bootloaders, including grub and raspberry Pi, too. Cool.

for the record, i hit the error mentioned in OP just a week after a full sudo nix-collect-garbage
