Maybe worth doing a full forced fsck of the filesystem, just in case it’s got into some really weird internal state?
In the end, I reinstalled the whole system. Using my old config. Of course, everything isv exactly as it was before. For now, the space issue is “solved”. Let’s see if it comes back.
