Noob question: Where home-manager config after installed on archlinux

After go through this tutorial to install home-manager : Home Manager Manual, the home-manager config should exist in .config/nixpkgs/, but I don’t see any nixpkgs directory, what I did something wrong ?

Details when installing nix and home-manager:

  1. Install nix by using command : sh <(curl -L https://nixos.org/nix/install) --daemon
  2. Install home-manager by using these commands:
nix-channel --add https://github.com/nix-community/home-manager/archive/master.tar.gz home-manager
nix-channel --update

nix-shell '<home-manager>' -A install

According to manual it is now uses ~/.config/home-manager/home.nix instead

unfortunately, after install nix, i don’t see any config file relative to nix on my ~/.config, including home-manager or nixpkgs

then just create it using example at Home Manager Manual and edit it accordingly

thanks for spend time to reply, i just figure out the standalone solution in : Home Manager Manual
