I will try turning it off
Okay, then pick a lane. Either set config.nu
and env.nu
the way you have been and turn off programs.nushell.enable
, or embrace the HM way and use programs.nushell.configFile
and programs.nushell.envFile
instead.
I will try out the first lane and if that doesn’t work I will switch to the second
OMG I TRIED THE FIRST LANE AND NUSHELL FINALLY WORKS, WITH MY CUSTOM STARSHIP PROMPT THAT I WAS USED TO ON MACOS AND EVERYTHING.
THANK YOU SO MUCH @rhendric and @uep I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL.
also unlike zsh, it actually recognises binaries like ls and kubectl on my system s I think I can just ditch zsh now.
Actually I decided to switch to lane 2 because when I updated my Starship configuration it just would not for the life of me reflect in nuShell, though it reflected in every other shell on my system and I gotta say it feels like a breath of fresh air
