# Packaging Nix packages into portable binaries?

Has anyone had any success packaging up binaries **built with Nix** for non-Nix systems?

Is this what `nix bundle` is designed for? Anyone using this?

If you are doing something like this I’d love to hear your use-case, the pros and cons, and what your experience has been like 🙏
