Plasma WEBP images still not working in nixos 24.11

Hi, just posting here about an issue I had with Dolphin. It still exists in 24.11, though I posted later into 24.05. Is this an actual issue, or will it get fixed automatically in 25.05? Is the reason it’s not fixed to do with the stability of the channel/release flow (as 24.11 was already underway at the time)?

I only noticed when I removed my fix along with other fixes I had made to clean up my config.

### Describe the bug Dolphin supports image previews, however it does not work …with WEBP out-of-the-box. ### Steps To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: 1. set `services.desktopManager.plasma6.enable = true` 2. Open Dolphin with previews enabled and icon view 3. Open a folder with WEBP images 4. Images show a placeholder icon 5. Can open in Gwenview as usual ### Expected behavior I expect that all image formats supported by Gwenview would also be supported by Dolphin for previews. Gwenview has a dependency on `qtimageformats`, and is installed with plasma by default. Adding `qtimageformats` to my config fixes this issue. Perhaps `qtimageformats` could be added as an optional dependency of `plasma6`, since `kimageformats` is already a required dependency in this way. The branchoff for 24.11 was mid-Nov, if the fix was merged prior then it should’ve been in 24.11. If the fix is not in 24.11 then the issue should be reopened.
