Adds `oclgrind`, the world's premier OpenCL simulator. This package previousl…y existed in Nixpkgs, but it was removed in #440273 due to incompatibilities with newer versions of LLVM. Now upstream has made a new release and compatibility has been restored. The package in this PR is a trivial update of the last version to be present in Nixpkgs. ## Things done - Built on platform: - [x] x86_64-linux - [ ] aarch64-linux - [ ] x86_64-darwin - [ ] aarch64-darwin - Tested, as applicable: - [ ] [NixOS tests] in [nixos/tests]. - [ ] [Package tests] at `passthru.tests`. - [ ] Tests in [lib/tests] or [pkgs/test] for functions and "core" functionality. - [ ] Ran `nixpkgs-review` on this PR. Issue: #224525. The spec: https://specifications.freedesktop.org/basedir-spec…/latest/ This PR introduces an `xdg.directories.enable` option, which automatically sets up the following environment variables: - `$XDG_CACHE_HOME` - `$XDG_CONFIG_HOME` - `$XDG_DATA_HOME` - `$XDG_STATE_HOME` Their default values are taken from the spec, but can be overridden using `config.xdg.directories.cache-home` & so on. `xdg.directories.enable` is `false` by default, preserving the old behavior. We can discuss changing the default to `true` on newer NixOS `stateVersion`s in a separate PR. ## Things done - Built on platform: - [ ] x86_64-linux - [ ] aarch64-linux - [ ] x86_64-darwin - [ ] aarch64-darwin - Tested, as applicable: - [ ] [NixOS tests] in [nixos/tests]. - [ ] [Package tests] at `passthru.tests`. - [ ] Tests in [lib/tests] or [pkgs/test] for functions and "core" functionality. - [x] Ran `nixpkgs-review` on this PR. pass: Wrap `passmenu` when installing extensions (#570275)

master ← jodizzle:fix-passmenu-extensions

Defining `pass` extensions to use inside `withExtensions` produces a version of …the `pass` command wrapped with an env var pointing to the extensions folder. However, `passmenu` is not wrapped. This means that `passmenu` will reference the unwrapped version of `pass`, without extensions supported. Fix this by wrapping `passmenu` in the same way as `pass`. ## Things done - Built on platform: - [x] x86_64-linux - [ ] aarch64-linux - [ ] aarch64-darwin - Tested, as applicable: - [ ] [NixOS tests] in [nixos/tests]. - [ ] [Package tests] at `passthru.tests`. - [ ] Tests in [lib/tests] or [pkgs/test] for functions and "core" functionality. - [ ] Ran `nixpkgs-review` on this PR. t3code: fix node-pty C++ runtime lookup on Linux (#569702)

master ← galaxai:fix/t3code-node-pty-linux

opened 07:53AM - 03 Oct 26 UTC

+11 -0

The Linux desktop backend cannot load the bundled `node-pty` addon because its p…rebuilt `pty.node` depends on `libstdc++.so.6` without a runtime search path. Reproduced with T3 Code 0.0.44 and the packaged Electron 44.5.1 in `ELECTRON_RUN_AS_NODE=1` mode: ```text ERR_DLOPEN_FAILED: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory ``` `readelf -d` shows `libstdc++.so.6` in `DT_NEEDED` but no RPATH/RUNPATH; `ldd` reports it as not found. The C++ runtime is already in the application's Nix closure, but the addon cannot locate it. ### Local workaround In the affected machine's Home Manager configuration, we wrapped the T3 Code launchers with: ```nix --prefix LD_LIBRARY_PATH : ${lib.makeLibraryPath [ stdenv.cc.cc.lib ]} ``` With this search path, the same addon loads and a PTY can be spawned, resized, written to, and read from successfully. ### Proposed package fix Add `patchelf` to Linux native build inputs and add the C++ runtime directory to the host Linux `node-pty/prebuilds/linux-<arch>/pty.node` RPATH during `postFixup`. Keep `dontPatchELF = true` for the rest of the vendored tree, which contains foreign-platform and static native binaries. The fix selects the host's Node architecture and only runs on Linux. It requires no launcher-level `LD_LIBRARY_PATH` override, version bump, or NixOS configuration change. ### Validation Tested on x86_64-linux (NixOS) and aarch64-darwin (Apple M1 Pro with nix-darwin), with sandboxing enabled for both builds, based on nixpkgs `624a0c72b2b25e1c99a068cdc608eef9f4eb231d` (the T3 Code recipe is identical to current master before this patch). - Built the complete modified `t3code` package from source on both x86_64-linux and aarch64-darwin. - Reproduced the original error under the packaged Electron 44.5.1 / Node 24.21.0 with `LD_LIBRARY_PATH`, `LD_PRELOAD`, and `NIX_LD_LIBRARY_PATH` unset. - Confirmed that the local library-path workaround makes the original addon pass the same terminal smoke test. - Tested the rebuilt addon's load, PTY spawn, resize, input/output, and clean exit under the same Electron runtime with all three variables unset: ```text {"electron":"44.5.1","node":"24.21.0","LD_LIBRARY_PATH":null} PASS: native addon loads PASS: PTY spawn, resize, input/output, and clean exit ``` - Verified `DT_RUNPATH` points to the C++ runtime and `ldd` resolves all dependencies without environment overrides. - Ran the rebuilt CLI on both platforms: `t3 --version` returns `t3 v0.0.44`. - On the M1 Mac, the packaged Electron also passes addon loading, PTY spawn, resize, input/output, and clean exit without library-path overrides. - On both platforms, started the rebuilt CLI server with isolated state and verified it stays running and serves the UI with HTTP 200. - On NixOS, started the actual rebuilt desktop launcher under Xvfb with isolated state, XDG directories, and D-Bus session; its backend stays running and serves the UI with HTTP 200, without `LD_LIBRARY_PATH`. - Ran `nixpkgs-review pr 569702 --eval local --checkout commit --no-shell --tests --systems x86_64-linux`: **1 package built (`t3code`), 0 failures**, for PR commit `d93d1f72d7dacdb3634761369a58f07d577580ef`. The report found no attached package tests. - Evaluated aarch64-linux (selects `linux-arm64`); this platform was not built or runtime-tested. Confirmed aarch64-darwin has an empty `postFixup` before its build and runtime tests. - `nixfmt --check` and `git diff --check` pass. The Electron test uses `ELECTRON_RUN_AS_NODE=1`, matching how the desktop app starts its backend. It loads the rebuilt `node-pty` addon and exercises a real bash PTY. The separate Linux desktop smoke test exercises launcher/backend startup; full GUI interaction was not tested. No system rebuild or activation of the test package was needed. ## Things done - Built on platform: - [x] x86_64-linux - [ ] aarch64-linux - [x] aarch64-darwin - Tested, as applicable: - NixOS tests: not applicable; there is no dedicated T3 Code NixOS VM test in this revision. - Package tests at `passthru.tests`: none defined; `nixpkgs-review --tests` confirms the test list is empty. - [x] Ran `nixpkgs-review` on x86_64-linux (1 package built, 0 failures). - [x] Tested basic functionality of both Linux launchers: CLI server and desktop startup/HTTP response, plus Electron backend PTY operations. Darwin CLI and Electron PTY also tested; full GUI interaction remains untested. - [x] Fits CONTRIBUTING.md, pkgs/README.md, and maintainers/README.md. - [x] Follows the [automation/AI policy](https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md#automationai-policy); this is a draft pending the submitter's review before marking ready. ### AI disclosure The patch, test harness, commit message, and this description were prepared with Codex (GPT-6-Astra). Adds [leaf](https://github.com/RivoLink/leaf), a terminal Markdown previewer wit…h a GUI-like experience: live watch mode, file picker, syntax highlighting, and TOC navigation. The attribute is named `leaf-markdown-viewer` after the upstream crate name (`Cargo.toml` declares `name = "leaf-markdown-viewer"`); the binary it installs is `leaf`, exposed through `meta.mainProgram`. - Upstream: https://github.com/RivoLink/leaf - Homepage: https://leaf.rivolink.mg - Changelog: https://github.com/RivoLink/leaf/blob/1.28.2/CHANGELOG.md Notes: - All five completions upstream ships in `completions/` are installed from the static files, so the binary is never executed at build time and cross-compilation is unaffected. Bash, fish, nushell, and zsh go through `installShellFiles`; `installShellFiles` has no PowerShell support and `pwsh` has no autoload directory, so `leaf.ps1` is installed by hand as `share/powershell/leaf.Completion.ps1`, following the convention used by `tea` and `openlist`. - `reqwest` is declared with `default-features = false` and `rustls-tls`, so there is no `openssl` dependency. - `dontUseCargoParallelTests = true` is needed: six tests in `src/tests/config.rs` mutate the same process-global `LEAF_TAB_TITLE_LENGTH` env var, so they race when cargo runs tests in parallel threads (reproducible on an 8-core Linux builder, passes by luck on Darwin). Serialising the test run keeps the full suite green rather than skipping the affected tests. - `syntect` uses `regex-onig`; `onig_sys` builds vendored oniguruma with `cc` and does not need `rustPlatform.bindgenHook`. - `src/clipboard.rs` and `src/editor.rs` shell out to `pbcopy`/`wl-copy`/`xclip`/`xsel`/`xdg-open`/`$EDITOR` at runtime, each behind a fallback (OSC 52 for clipboard). These are deliberately not wrapped into `PATH`, to avoid making optional features into hard closure dependencies. - `leaf --update` downloads a release asset and overwrites its own binary, which cannot work from the read-only Nix store. It is patched out in `postPatch`, so it now exits with `leaf was installed through Nix; update it with your Nix configuration instead of ` + "`leaf --update`" + ` rather than failing with a permission error. `--replace-fail` is used so that a future version bump moving this code fails the build rather than silently restoring the self-updater. ### AI disclosure Assisted by Claude Code (claude-opus-5). ## Summary - Update changedetection.io from 0.53.6 to [0.60.8](https://github.c…om/dgtlmoon/changedetection.io/releases/tag/0.60.8), audit runtime dependencies, and add regression coverage for the service and both default browser backends. - Restore Apache-2.0 metadata after [upstream removed the commercial agreement](https://github.com/dgtlmoon/changedetection.io/pull/4445); the release also replaces GPL levenshtein with rapidfuzz. Diff: https://github.com/dgtlmoon/changedetection.io/compare/0.53.6...0.60.8 Closes #558278. Follows the dependency/testing direction of #498313 and complements the version-only update in #500317. The earlier runtime failures and rollback (#496696, #496698) motivate testing actual startup and monitoring rather than imports alone. ## Packaging Use `python3Packages.buildPythonApplication`, `pyproject`, explicit build/runtime/test dependencies, and `finalAttrs` for override-compatible source tags. Add the new runtime dependencies, retain Playwright and required extras, and remove obsolete direct dependencies. Move pytest tooling out of runtime metadata; omit the unavailable optional `pyppeteerstealth` injection, which upstream handles gracefully. Replace blanket dependency relaxation with these explicit exceptions: | Upstream requirement | nixpkgs version tested | | --- | --- | | apprise == 1.13.1 | 1.13.0 | | beautifulsoup4 >= 4.0.0, <= 4.14.3 | 4.15.0 | | chardet >= 7.6.0 | 6.0.0.post1 | | cryptography == 44.0.0 | 50.0.0 | | flask_wtf ~= 1.3 | 1.2.2 | | pyppeteer-ng == 2.0.0rc16 | 2.0.0rc13 | | selenium ~= 4.49.0 | 4.40.0 | | werkzeug == 3.1.6 | 3.1.8 | Flask/SocketIO bounds remain enforced. The tests below provide compatibility evidence, not a guarantee for every feature; changes to already-relaxed upstream constraints still require manual review. ## Validation - Entire upstream unit directory: **342 tests and 119 subtests passed**, without exclusions. New tests in that directory are automatically included; wheel dependency and installed-import checks also pass. - Package-local NixOS tests use the real service module and `finalAttrs.finalPackage`. Override and platform-selection assertions pass. All three tests were run on x86_64-linux with sandboxing: ```console nix-build -A changedetection-io --no-out-link --option sandbox true nix-build -A changedetection-io.tests.service -A changedetection-io.tests.playwright -A changedetection-io.tests.webdriver --no-out-link --option sandbox true ``` - Service coverage: startup, homepage/API, authentication rejection, local HTTP monitoring, changed snapshots and restart persistence. A separate synthetic 0.53.6 datastore-copy upgrade preserved the API token, watch and history; the original data remained unchanged. - Browser coverage: JavaScript-only content, screenshots and changed snapshots using the module's default Podman, Browserless/Selenium images and driver URLs. Test images are digest-pinned for offline reproducibility; no production module defaults change. Journals and container logs are captured on failure. - `nixfmt`, test-driver lint/type checks and `git diff --check` pass; shared Python helpers pass basedpyright with **0 errors and 0 warnings**. - [Multi-platform review](https://github.com/DaVinci42/nixpkgs-review-gha/actions/runs/36986175982) passed on x86_64-linux, aarch64-linux and aarch64-darwin (sandbox = relaxed), confirming the Darwin local-networking fix. x86_64-darwin reported no rebuilds. ### Manual testing Tested this PR package on an x86_64-linux NixOS NUC using the service module and an existing datastore. Both basic HTTP monitoring and Playwright monitoring with SockPuppetBrowser completed successfully; browser screenshots were generated. The first entry below is the HTTP check, and the second is the Playwright check of example.com (local time, UTC+08:00). Successful fetching and unchanged content were confirmed in the surrounding logs, along with screenshot completion for Playwright; the completion lines alone are not a success assertion. ```console $ journalctl -u changedetection-io.service --since '2026-10-02 21:37:07' --until '2026-10-02 21:37:09' '--grep=completed watch' -o cat --no-pager 2026-10-02 21:37:08.143 | DEBUG | changedetectionio.worker:async_update_worker:707 - Worker 3 completed watch ffbf90a1-1e14-4036-92df-a466d015a918 in 3.14s $ journalctl -u changedetection-io.service --since '2026-10-02 21:47:14' --until '2026-10-02 21:47:22' '--grep=completed watch' -o cat --no-pager 2026-10-02 21:47:21.450 | DEBUG | changedetectionio.worker:async_update_worker:707 - Worker 0 completed watch 9de3a8e7-47a5-4325-8b70-7951e520043a in 7.45s ``` ## Limitations Interactive visual selector, browser steps, notification delivery and external LLM calls remain untested. Browserless/SockPuppetBrowser migration (#490236, #528320) is separate. The service restart test logged an upstream coroutine-cleanup `RuntimeError: no running event loop`, but systemd deactivated successfully and restart/persistence assertions passed. Back up existing datastores before upgrading; the synthetic migration test is not an exhaustive migration matrix. ## Things done - Built on platform: - [x] x86_64-linux - [ ] aarch64-linux - [ ] aarch64-darwin - Tested, as applicable: - [x] [NixOS tests] in [nixos/tests]. - [x] [Package tests] at `passthru.tests`. - [ ] Tests in [lib/tests] or [pkgs/test] for functions and "core" functionality. - [x] Ran `nixpkgs-review` on this PR.
