You can either 1. view them on GitHub or 2. clone the repo and open them using a program like [Okular](https://okular.kde.org/). Before this change, option 2 was a little bit inconvenient. When you clicked on either of the links to `CONTRIBUTING.md`, it would take you to GitHub instead of opening up the Markdown file locally. ## Description of changes Trying to implement Bolt, a third-party Runescape l…auncher. However, I need help on it as I'm missing a few things and I would like to be reviewed. Closes #296491 ## Things done Added the package, linked the correct libraries, added cmake files to libcef as well as pre/postInstall hooks. The application builds fine, however I cannot get it to run and I need input on this. When trying to run it, strace gives me: ``` openat(AT_FDCWD, "/nix/store/qavag7d0q4bslf85q61ika50h2prvk0y-cef-binary-121.3.13/lib/icudtl.dat", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) ``` I suspect that there might be some path manipulation to do, as it looks for icudtl.dat in the wrong directory, even though it should be correctly installed? - Built on platform(s) - [x] x86_64-linux

## Description of changes This adds [OpenThread](https://openthread.io/)'s open… source [border router component](https://github.com/openthread/ot-br-posix) along with a NixOS service. Thread is a mesh networking technology based on 6LoWPAN (ipv6-based) and 802.15.4. The border router component bridges the mesh network to an ipv6 network on a local interface. If no ipv6 connectivity exists, it'll advertise a new prefix for the local network so communication is possible. Once setup, it can be used to bridge a [Thread network](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thread_(network_protocol)) with the local network to expose IoT devices to other systems like Home Assistant, Apple Home, etc.. I've been using this implementation along with Home Assistant and some Nanoleaf light bulbs using both Matter and their proprietary "ltpdu" protocol for about a week now. It's pretty stable. For the SkyConnect specifically, some options have to be used (see example). There doesn't seem to be a lot of hardware-specific options in nixpkgs so I chose not to include an option for this. This PR cleans up the leftover of #333670. After #333670, `buildPythonPackage…` and `buildPythonApplication` no longer apply `lib.makeOverridable` themselves and no longer provide `.override` and `.overrideDerivation` of the returning package. For Python packages provided by Nixpkgs, the local `.override` attribute is almost always shadowed by the one provided by `callPackage`, and so does the `.overrideDerivation` attribute. I didn't find any use of the local `override` in Nixpkgs, but @trofi reported the evaluation failure of `python3Packages.pythonCatchConflictsHook.tests.catches-conflict-multiple-chains` due to the loss of the local `overrideDerivation`.
