Ps_bpf_recvmsg: No buffer space available

My server suddenly stopped being able to connect to the internet, at all.

I can only connect via a crappy console method, so I cannot copy & paste logs. Have to type them out, manually.

Output of systemctl status dhcpcd after restarting the related network interface:

soliciting a DHCP lease
offered <correct-static-ip> from <remote-ip>
ignoring offer of <correct-static-ip> from <remote-ip>
probing address <correct-static-ip>/22
leased <correct-static-ip> for 2678400 seconds
adding route to <correct-static-ip.0>/22
adding default route via <correct-static-ip.1>
no IPv6 Routers available
ps_bpf_recvmsg: No buffer space available

How can I solve this issue & most importantly how can I make this never happen again?

This popped out out of nothing & this shouldn’t ever repeat.

Restarting the related network interface did not help & wouldn’t be a solution anyway, just as rebooting the server isn’t a solution. It’s really important, that this error can be reliably prevented.

Restarting the related network interface a second time made the connection available again. However, what was the issue? The dhcpcd service’s log is still spammed with the ps_bpf_recvmsg: No buffer space available message.
