# RFC on setup.nix Python development tool

I’ve now pushed the work I mentioned to

- [GitHub - nix-community/setup.nix: Nixpkgs based build tools for declarative Python packages [maintainer=@datakurre]](https://github.com/nix-community/setup.nix)

I have never known all the use cases for pip2nix, so there must be a lot of issues and polishing left (and I’m also missing PyPI rights for it).
