If there’s any waydroid users who also happen to use iptables (and not nftables): please check if virtualisation.waydroid.package = pkgs.waydroid-nftables; works for you, including internet access in the container ; and share your results on the following PR that is discussing changing the default package:

also set the default waydroid package to waydroid-nftables if … the kernel version is beyond the point at which ip_tables is unavaliable by default. (6.16.9)
