After upgrading from NixOS 24.11 / Plasma 5 to NixOS 25.05 / Plasma 6, sddm (the login screen) on my homelab won’t turn off anymore. I expect it to time out an turn off after a minute or so. This isn’t happening.
I’ve looked at the NixOS options as well as the sddm options but found nothing that seemed like it would allow me to configure this.
Does somebody know how to solve this?
I’ve also asked on the KDE forum, with one response pointing to possible issue with the thing possibly having been migrated from Xorg to Wayland, but that honestly doesn’t bring me much further
