On the new website, is it possible to search the documentation? And if so, should this be more discoverable?
One issue I’ve found is that when a user gets to the website, and they want to search something like “Declarative package management” (because what they don’t know they’re looking for is pkgs.buildEnv or home-manager), and they search using the top right search icon, they’re immediately given only the nixos configuration options or a list of matching packages.
Currently, the way that I “search” the documentation is to open each of the pages individually and search through them. As someone who has been using nix for awhile, I know which manual is likely to have the answer. I’ve heard feedback from other users that they expect this to more easily searchable.
