I’m trying to set some options for extensions I use in firefox. I can’t seem to find where exactly the data for the extensions is stored or how I would go about changing it with home manager.

If the extension supports that, e.g. uBO, you can config it in policy.
Yes I’m aware of that, but it seems like for most extensions the data is stored in some kind of db and isn’t configurable through policy.
I don’t think there is way to configure extensions in general except through policies: and most extensions don’t seem to support policy-based configuration.
