Sharry - FIle Sharing webapp

Hi, looking for an easy way to share files with people everywhere, I came across two services that already have integration with nix: sharry and pingvin-share
Unfortunately the more popular and feature rich pingvin-share is no longer maintained. We still have a package and modules, but I worry at some point it will go stale. One fork has 90+ stars.
Sharry on the other hand isn‘t as feature rich and not as popular but it‘s active and someone contributed a nix package and module, but even though it‘s been there a while, it hasn‘t been brought to nixos. I might install it from the repo then.

In the end I would simply like to set up a file sharing platform that doesn‘t cost too much time, is there another file sharing service with a module for nixos?

i only remember just this one for now…

its public instance kinda died a few months ago, but then came back again this january. you can self host it anyway. um, dont know much about it other than this, ive just used it a couple times, but yeah, it has a few nixos options, hope its alright:

services.microbin.*

other services that i know of and can recommend are for local sharing only, so yeah

Microbin is a great pastebin but not as good for general file sharing…single upload at a time.

lol as soon as i went to check if this is true, the dev just said “im working on it” like 5 mins ago

but there is also this thing, also has a demo or can be selfhosted, although it doesnt have any nixos options, just the package

First time hearing about wormhole. Confusingly, it appears to be unrelated to magic wormhole, which has worked great for me (I use the warp desktop app and wormhole android app).
However, if someone wants something feature rich and self-hostable (not p2p) and don’t care about e2ee, I would direct them to copyparty.
