I run a small distro called ArchBang Linux based on archlinux. Would like to ship Nix with my iso image but wished to run it past you guys first before I release anything.
Am I allowed to ship my distro with Nix?
Certainly do not want to get into any trouble with developers…

Nix is under the LGPL v2.1 (see https://github.com/NixOS/nix/blob/7918adbb628e7781cec1638c371f2009136be68a/COPYING)
and nixpkgs are under MIT license (see https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/blob/c0c5f8fa44a3acc53e773558e1a35d82bb2cc266/COPYING)
You are perfectly fine shipping it as long as you respect the licenses
