Switching to flakes

This is a simple question because I couldn’t find a good guide anywhere, how do I switch my entire system to flakes, and should I use home manager if I allready backup my dotfiles using git

## How to switch to flakes from path-based nix

1. drop this in `/etc/nixos/flake.nix`

  description = "system flake";
  inputs = {
    nixpkgs.url = "github:NixOS/nixpkgs/nixos-unstable";
  };

  outputs = {nixpkgs, ...}: {
    nixosConfigurations = {
      hostname = nixpkgs.lib.nixosSystem {

But you don’t need to use h-m.
