Thanks a lot. I see it now. It seems I forgot to switch to “unstable” before clicking the “Source” link in https://search.nixos.org/. In 24.11 these options are there, in unstable they aren’t anymore.
After the most recent rebuild performance improved dramatically anyway, so this is perhaps just not necessary anymore.
