I can’t emphasize enough what a big deal Randy’s work is here. 24.11 is going to be the best release of Nixpkgs for macOS ever, and 25.05 will be even better (11.3 bump and I’m hoping to do something about the ofborg situation). Hopefully we can grow the new Darwin team as well!
