@PhilipTaron I saw in the [meeting notes for the SC](https://github.com/NixOS/steering-committee/blob/9f0489d2e22c09da59c52dcf3bf09b8cc427378e/minutes/2026-08-19.md) that restarting the nixpkgs-core is your current task, is there going be a official post about from the SC for the search for folks to fill this rebooted nixpkgs-core?

It’s a stretch to call it my current task. I want it to be restarted, but doing so means finding folks who are willing to be hard workers for zero money and high responsibilities **and** that are broadly trusted. I know a lot of people who check some but not all of the boxes. It’s not open casting call, really. I’d love self-nominations, but … it’s a big job and you gotta be _widely_ trusted. As you know Wolfgang, Emily, Alyssa, and K900 were. High bar.
