# The SC prepared to lie to us, and what we can do about it \[whistleblow\]

I think the SC should agree to turn over whatever this evidence is to an impartial 3rd party to interpret and report on, on behalf of SC and other governing groups.

One possibility is that Numtide offered to sponsor a service for conflict resolution [Introducing NixOS Mediation: A New Conflict Resolution Service](https://discourse.nixos.org/t/introducing-nixos-mediation-a-new-conflict-resolution-service/61614)

I recommend that you look at that service as a possible impartial source, or potentially a similar resource, to hear out all sides in a debate like this, and offer an interpretation of what happened from available evidence, and and that conflict resolution resource could recommend ways forward. The same could happen for deadlocked votes in SC too. Unless you think you couldn’t or shouldn’t trust a professional 3rd party conflict resolution service, it could be at least worth considering as a way to move past deadlock/impasse and community division issues.
