for a month, freezes happen frequently during light use (ex. when browsing) and not such when a job is started, to pin it to a specific activity. no abrupt changes either: temp 40-50C, cpu 1-3%, mem 11-21%
during freeze, tty doesn’t work
after freezes i press power button. then get a stop job running for workspaces until it shuts down. then i power on, getstart job running and login via tty and run labwc or dbus-run-session labwc
journalctl -b -1 outputs are from 3 days ago (had my recent crash today)
perhaps-relevant details:
-
i disabled sddm once in
configuration.nixthen enabled it again. now i get the graphical interface login sometimes, and sometimes it logs in without asking password. high, suspicion. labwc hasn’t froze before -
i use
systemctl-hibernatebecause sleep heats up the laptop immensely (this is a problem of at least 5-6 mo i haven’t looked into) -
for a while, graphical interface wouldn’t load after
[OK] Started Modem Manager(i think “started”, not sure)
